Dell launches Windows 8 based Inspiron 15z ultrabook from Rs 41,990.Dell continues to expand its range of Inspiron, the latest addition to the series, as ultrabook Inspiron 15z and costs Rs 41,990 excluding taxes.Ultrabook comes with a 15.6-inch LED-backlit (1366x768) and has a stylish aluminum frame 21mm thin, which comes in a silver moon or variations of red light, weighing 2.17 kg. Inspiron 15z runs on Windows 8, includes an optical drive and an integrated 1-megapixel HD screen (1280 x 720) webcam. There is another version of the touchscreen ultrabook measuring 23mm thick and weighing 2.46 kg. Ultrabook powered by Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors third generation configurations up to 8 GB of RAM. It has a Nvidia GeForce GT630M 2GB DDR3 graphics device. The device has a backlit keyboard and a standard size spill-resistant Multi-Touchpad with scroll zone, which has integrated gestures to support Windows 8.

Inspiron 15z comes with Intel Rapid Start technology, Intel Smart Response technology and a 6-cell battery with 44 Wh, which promises hours longer. It also comes with Intel WiDi (Wireless 1080 FHD / Surround 5.1), which allows users to share videos and photos wirelessly with their home entertainment system. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v4.0.The book also includes an ultra-speakers with waves MaxxAudio4 Skullcandy audio processing for optimum sound quality. It supports multiple card slots and a variety of ports include 3 USB 3.0, 1 USB 3.0 PowerShare, Ethernet RJ45, HDMI v1.4a, headphone / microphone combo jack, Kensington Security Lock, and AC ports.
